Spin it out!
There is just something about hopping on a bike and getting lost for 30 to 60 minutes a day that brings pure joy to my life. I like nothing more than to turn on some killer beats that motivate me and burn those calories. Cycling has many benefits and I’m here to tell you what they are. Stop the boring cardio and spin away, I guarantee the time will fly by.
First off, it increases cardiovascular fitness which increases blood flow and oxygen intake. You can burn around 400 to 500 calories in just 45 minutes. It helps make a strong heart and big healthy lungs. It offers high intensity cardio with low impact on joints such as hip flexors and knee joints. Among these it promotes circulation throughout the entire bod and helps with digestion.
Spinning helps elevate levels of endorphins and dopamine during and after your session. Both help with mental health, reducing stress and anxiety. I tend to become stressed from life’s daily ups and downs but after one sweat session I feel immediately better. No special tricks and no pills required.
Focusing on how it helps the inner body is great and all but spinning helps make for a rocking body. It builds and tones the quads and hammy’s but doesn’t add bulkiness aka HULK legs. When “off the saddle” (not on the seat) it engages the core, back and bum.
A spin bike is a great investment if you are looking for a easily accessible piece of cardio equipment. They are quiet, do not take up much space and can be moved just about anywhere. Spinning is also a great way to meet new people at your local gym, the classes are uplifting and motivating. After a class you feel like you just conquered the world….no joke. Give it a try but I did warn you, it’s addicting!
After lots of research, this entry level bike was the best bang for my buck. I love my bike and would recommend it to anybody!
